Are you worried about having to go through a difficult and time-consuming process to become a fully registered teacher?
Have you been putting it off for years because you feel like you just don’t have the time?
The TRB is here to let you know that the Provisional to Full (P2F) process is not what you might think.
- It’s not extra work on top of your teaching.
- It’s not a portfolio of evidence.
- It’s not something you complete alone.
- It’s not a process that takes a whole school year.
Think of Provisional to Full (P2F) as your opportunity to show the impact of your daily teaching by collecting evidence that demonstrates you are successfully working at the proficient level.
To make it happen, you’ll choose an inquiry question, employ creative teaching strategies, and gather a small amount of evidence — from lesson plans to student feedback — that proves you’re meeting those proficient standards.
With a mentor to brainstorm and support you, you’ll reflect on what worked, highlight your impact, and move to full teacher registration!
