Tasmanian Principals may be eligible to pursue HALT Lead Teacher certification through the HALT Senior Leader Pathway.
This alternative pathway recognises leadership practice, influence and system-level impact as evidence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
Applicants demonstrate the Standards through a Lead Teacher Project, leading to the same nationally recognised Lead Teacher certification as the standard HALT process.
HALT-certified Principals are also qualified to undertake key certification roles and support the certification of teachers within their schools.
