teachers for all Tasmanian Schools.

Registration for 2010 - Are you registered?

The renewal of
registration and maintenance of registration processes for
2010 have now closed. If
your registration expired on 31 December 2009 and you did not
complete the renewal or maintenance process you will not be
registered for 2010!
If you require teacher
registration for 2010 you must apply using the 2010
Application for Registration Form.
Did you have a LAT in 2009?
If so, remember that this LAT is not valid in 2010 - you
must have a 2010 LAT or 2010 teacher registration to be able to
teach this year. |
Please be advised, if you lodged your renewal or maintenance in
December 2009 you may not receive your new registration card until mid
to late January due to the large amount of processing required at the
end of the year.
The Teachers
Registration Act 2000 has been amended and, as of 1 January 2010,
the new Teachers Registration Amendment Act 2009 governs the
process of teacher registration in Tasmania.
All application
forms will be changing to reflect the requirements of the new Act. Those
applying for registration or to change their category of
registration will no longer be able to use 2009 application forms
however 2009 Limited Authority to Teach forms will still be accepted and
processed until the new 2010 forms become available.
